Measles

Measles is one of the most contagious of all communicable diseases, with >90% attack rates among susceptible close contacts. Requires urgent follow-up and review with an MHO. Investigate and report to BCCDC all confirmed, probable, and suspect cases of measles within 24 hours of notification. Susceptible contacts are offered Ig or MMR up to 6 days after last exposure.
